Residence: Ranch House to Castle
An easier start to the morning

An easier start to the morning

This coffee nook, an extension of the larger kitchen, makes the morning start much easier, providing a special place to make coffee, lattes and espressos.

Ranch House to Castle Challenge:

Transform a typical Tucson, ranch style, home into a “Starter Castle,” creating a retreat of enhanced proportions.  Some people will see a “Tuscany” influence in the design.

Solution:

Maintaining only a few walls from the original structure, changes include adding square feet and rearranging existing spaces.  By raising the ceilings and altering the floor plan, these open spaces create an open and relaxing atmosphere.

What they're saying

"My husband and I were undertaking a total house remodel complete with additions. This was a new experience for us as we had never "built" a home before. I was living in Seattle during the year long process making periodic visits to Tucson, so it was imperative to have a designer we could trust. Linda was there with us every step of the way. We could never have envisioned or created such a beautiful home without her attention to detail, creativity and keen sense of color and design. Linda was a joy to work with throughout the process."
