Residence: Building on Memories
Displaying Items can be Fun

Displaying Items can be Fun

This lighted glass display cabinet showcases special items from three sides.

Building on Memories Challenge:

The family house had to go.  It made no economical sense to remodel.  The new contemporary home needed to be set in a grove of mesquite trees and the clients love natural materials and color.  How to incorporate family antiques, Mexican art, mesquite and lots more into this home.

Solution:

The mesquite wood was salvaged from the cut trees, kiln dried, and made into a spiral staircase, floors, and accents.  Tile, stone, and color separate areas.  Niches and built-in cabinets offer display space.  Antiques and contemporary furniture blend giving a warm feeling of “coming home” when you enter the house.

What they're saying

You have helped us so much and we appreciate your expertise in more ways than we can tell. I am so happy.
