Finding Room for Wine

An outside closet, enlarged, provides space for wine storage and wine tasting.  A temperature/humidity controlled unit and an insulated door keep the inside temperature constant.  Tile, wood shelving, color, and a tasting table provide ample ambiance for sharing your favorite hobby of collecting wine.

Making Room for a Hobby Challenge:

Where can we store the wine we find on trips and how can we make wine tasting fun?

Solution:

An outside closet was enlarged to provide ample space for a wine “cellar”.  A temperature/humidity controlled system keeps the wine at just the right temperature.  An insulated door separates the cool inside from the extreme temperatures outside.  The floor tile combines with wood dividers and a small “wine tasting” table to provide a wonderful ambiance.  What a lovely way to make room for the collection of favorite wines.

What they're saying

"My husband and I were undertaking a total house remodel complete with additions. This was a new experience for us as we had never "built" a home before. I was living in Seattle during the year long process making periodic visits to Tucson, so it was imperative to have a designer we could trust. Linda was there with us every step of the way. We could never have envisioned or created such a beautiful home without her attention to detail, creativity and keen sense of color and design. Linda was a joy to work with throughout the process."
