Building on Memories Challenge:
The family house had to go. It made no economical sense to remodel. The new contemporary home needed to be set in a grove of mesquite trees and the clients love natural materials and color. How to incorporate family antiques, Mexican art, mesquite and lots more into this home.
Solution:
The mesquite wood was salvaged from the cut trees, kiln dried, and made into a spiral staircase, floors, and accents. Tile, stone, and color separate areas. Niches and built-in cabinets offer display space. Antiques and contemporary furniture blend giving a warm feeling of “coming home” when you enter the house.
What they're saying
We all just LOVE our beautiful rug! It is absolutely gorgeous. Makes the room bigger & the house more complete--what a huge difference.
