Southwest patio areas are extensions of interior spaces. Entertaining, conversation, bird watching, and relaxing can be part of this area. Colors of the sunsets, sunrises, mountains and surrounding areas become part of the spaces and must transistion to the interior colors, textures and atmosphere. Gates, plants, fountains, outdoor kitchens, and lighting are the backdrops for people enjoying outdoor living.

As you probably know, Paula, your faux artist, finished the fireplace last week. It is absolutely gorgeous! The more we live with it, the more beautiful it becomes. The curtains you chose, are the finishing touch on the room, and added the warmth and elegance we were looking for.
